I will be doing some more tests in the next few days and will let you know. That being said, it is really not that bad. Rate of fire was high, 1200 to 1310 rpm out of a ten mag test. I was able to get two full mag loads out of a green gas fill, in filling the mag I used the very scientific method of counting until the gas came out around the fill valve, Average count I found was 25.Īlthough I have read a few reviews that put the FPS at 375-380 I was only able to achieve a 345 FPS average in outside temperature conditions at 83 degrees. The G&P has a gun weight of 2lbs 7oz and the mag weighs in at 16ozs, about 8 1/2ozs heavier. Weight on the KWA without the mag was 1lb 15oz and the mag weighs in at a hefty 15.5ozs by itself. I love it, it's not an M4, it's heavy, but it shoots great and hey, it's not an M4Ĭoming up next the Tanaka Smith and Wesson R8 327 Heavyweight version.īoth are close in looks, the KWA model has a plastic body though, I have seen a few reviews that have said it was metal, sorry, it's not. One other tip if you buy this, I had a hell of a time getting the fore end back on, just make sure you put the top end (front sight side) in 1st, then slide in the receiver side. I changed to a new 9.6 nunchuck and have not had to reset the mech box again. I was running an older 8.4 mini and it just did not have the umpff to power the 3 rd burst. I just had to use a more powerful battery. The other issue I had was with the 3 rd burst. The spring replacement is not as easy as I was told, it did take pulling the mech box from the receiver.īut the good news is that it is now shoots at 385 FPS. The result is, drum roll please, it now works great. Well it took a little while, but the FNC is back.
